The Central Chime system consists of a station alert light and control box at each station. A central switching unit with a remote chime to be mounted near the head of a post and rope line completes the system.
As a teller, cashier or agent presses the button on the station control box, the station alert light illuminates and the chime rings alerting the customer to the next available station. The station alert light automatically turns off in 8 seconds or a duration determined at the time of ordering.
Each station and the chime is hard wired to the central switching unit with a low voltage wire.
